The data set made available is composed of 3*15 min, as follows



Tape 4  - 14 jun 1996 18:00 -> 18:15 -Event I
                           Source ship was approximately held

                           stationnary at 5.5 km range North to the VA,

                           source depth is shown in file sd_eI.ps,
                           environment is range independent.

                           Sound speed profile near VA is shown by
                           m-file ssp14Jun.m (need ssp14Jun.mat).
                           Acoustic data are in directory EventI.
Tape 11 - 16 jun 1996 09:00 -> 09:15 - Event II
                           Source ship followed the track

                           shown in file track_eII.jpg over a strongly

                           range dependent environment. Source range and

                           depth are shown in srange_eII.ps and sd_eII.ps.

                           Water depth along track is shown in

                           wdepth_eII.ps.

                           Sound speed profile near VA is shown by m-file
                           ssp16Jun.m (need ssp16Jun.mat).
                           Acoustic data are in directory EventII.
Tape 17 - 17 jun 1996 01:10 -> 03:59 - Event III
                           Source ship is either approximately held

                           stationnary or moving over a range dependent track
			   at 6.8 km to the West of the VA. Source depth

                           is shown in sd_EIII.ps. Water depth variation

                           along track can be deduced from wdepth_eII.ps.

                           Sound speed profile near VA is shown by m-file
                           ssp16Jun.m (need ssp16Jun.mat).
